Magistrate HW Kyembe Karim Champions Change: Giving Shoes and Hope to Pallisa’s Future Leaders.

Grade One Magistrate HW Kyembe Karim is setting a shining example of community service and leadership. His charity drive, aimed at providing shoes for every barefooted student in Pallisa District, is already making waves.

Pupils of Ngalwe Primary School

His first visit at Ngalwe Primary School showcased the urgent need for support as well as the immense potential lying within the community.

At Ngalwe Primary School, where the population swells to 1,103 pupils—573 boys and 530 girls—Magistrate Karim was greeted warmly by Deputy Headmistress Ms. Amoding Stella. She suggested beginning the initiative with the youngest learners and highlighted the school’s collaboration with the local NGO, Good Neighbours.

This organization sponsors at least 607 students by supplying food and school bags. Even though their scheduled contribution had yet to materialize on that day, the optimism and resilience of the school staff were evident.

During his visit, Magistrate Karim took extra time to talk with the teachers. He encouraged them not to give up on their noble mission of teaching Uganda’s future leaders. He passionately reminded them that the hard work they invest in nurturing young minds is a true act of godliness—a calling where their reward can only come from God. His heartfelt encouragement resonated deeply with those on the front lines of education.

Magistrate Karim further called upon every person of good heart and conscience to help bridge the gaps faced by vulnerable students in society. He stressed that while providing shoes is a critical step toward restoring dignity, it is but the beginning of a broader initiative to address multiple educational challenges—such as the shortage of books and insufficient classroom space.

His vision is clear: solving one problem at a time will pave the way for a brighter, more inclusive future for all.

This noble initiative transcends the provision of footwear—it represents a commitment to uplifting the community and investing in the potential of every child. His words remind us that leadership isn’t confined to the courtroom: it is found in every act of kindness, every word of encouragement, and every effort to create a more just society.

Through collective action and unwavering commitment, we can all help shape a future where every student walks to school not only with proper shoes but with the confidence and hope that comes from knowing someone cares.

In a world that rapidly embraces technological advancements, initiatives like this serve as a poignant reminder that addressing simple yet critical needs can spark monumental change. Let us rally together to support this invaluable drive and honor the dedication of those who strive to secure a better tomorrow.
